I.D. Systems to sponsor new UKWA Award

The United Kingdom Warehousing Association’s Annual Awards are widely regarded as one of the premier networking events in the logistics industry’s calendar. Over 400 UKWA members, their guests and suppliers to the 3PL sector are expected to attend this lunchtime event, which is taking place on July 1st at the Dorchester Hotel in central London.

This year I.D. Systems is proud to be the category sponsor of a prestigious new award: Warehouse Company of the Year. The judging process will include a site visit and judges will be looking for an organisation that is profitable and expanding and held in high regard by fellow UKWA members. Further criteria are a commitment to embrace the latest technology, a sensitive approach to environmental issues and promotion of individual development within the company.

Alexander Glasmacher, I.D. Systems’ MD for EMEA comments: “Our fleet management systems contribute to improved performance across the board in terms of safer operating environments, increased productivity and reduced MHE costs. This ties in well with the ethos of the new category and I am very pleased to announce that Norm Ellis, our COO, will be traveling from America to present the winner with the award. We wish all entrants the very best with their submissions.”
